Terms of Service

 

Shipping

All fursuits either pre made or custom ship from South Portland ME. 

When fursuits are shipped out, you’ll be send a conformation email with your tracking number. Make sure to check your email (and spam folder just in case!) for your email.

Please know that international orders may be subject to Customs charges or custom holds that are entirely out of my control. 

Return policy

I dont accept returns, however, i do accept refurbs of your fursuit, or adjustments on anything you think is a defect. Please contact me (trikomanokitfursuits@gmail.com) within a week of receiving an item to qualify for an exchange or refurb. You're responsible for shipping it both ways.

I’m not responsible for any accidental purchases. Please double-check that you selected the correct sizes and style to be sure you receive the items you wanted. Also make sure that you measured your body correctly for a fursuit head, arm sleeves, and leg sleeves.

Exchange policy

I offer exchanges for anything in the store that has the same value or is very close. Contact me (trikomanokitfursuits@gmail.com) within a week of receiving an item to qualify for an exchange. You are responsible for shipping both ways.

Items must be returned in an unused condition. I cannot ship out new items until old items are received and verified to be in an unused condition.

Sellers rights

I reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. If i do cancel an order, the buyer will be issued a refund. I reserve the right to adjust my terms of service agreement at any time.

Order process

For a good reference of how I operate, I recommend you read through this page. 

I will negotiate and discuss your commission details with you, in order to compose a detailed invoice that covers all the components, details, and preferences of your fursuit. Your order is made to these specifications.

I will never begin to work on something until you have agreed and fully paid for your suit. 

The commissioner must pay in full and have their measurements (if buying a head, arm sleeves, or leg sleeves) sent in to me via email before I begin working on the commission. 

I provide Work in Progress (WIP) photos during the making process. i require some WIPs to be approved by you to proceed.

These include images of fur/fabric swatches, head carve before its furred, and images of the completed fursuit.

Edits during the making process

I will use your reference images and detailed invoice to make your commission. If you see your WIPs that i send and want adjustments or tweaks made, then i might need to charge more for changes to be made depending on said change.

Payments

Customers can pay upfront in full or work out a payment plan with me.

Payment plans

I require you to be able to put down 1/3rd of the total cost of your commission to begin with. After that, you can pay monthly until its paid off. I recommend paying at least $200 a month.

If you need to postpone payments, i can work with you about that. Email me directly to give a heads up to discuss your options. Options can include pausing production until you start paying again, or reducing the list of components you want to decrease your total cost. 

Color/fabric matching

Please know that sometimes i cannot match exact colors of your fursona, as the colors of fur aren’t even close to as limitless as reference art does. I try my best to match colors as close as possible, but please understand that sometimes i cant find an exact color.  If i cant find an exact color, i will send you a picture of some color possibilities for you to choose from.

I can’t guarantee fabric matches to previously purchased items. Not for items from another buyer, and not from items you got from me at a previous time. Sometimes fabrics are discontinued, and sometimes the color can vary between dye batches.

Wearability of fursuits

Buyers understand that fursuits are hot, claustrophobic, bulky, and have less vision than normal eyesight. I am not responsible for any injury you may incur while in your fursuit. 

Please be careful and take care of yourself while in your fursuit! Take frequent breaks, drink water, and have a friend or family member be your handler in unfamiliar locations.

Buyer Responsibility

Buyer must provide accurate refrence sheet, and measurements if needed. I rely on these to accurately create your suit. 

Buyer is responsible for the proper care of their fursuits:

  • Do not pick up head by ears, nose, or cheek fluff
  • Brush your suit regularly 
  • Wear a balaclava with your fursuit if you have one
  • Wash head consistently 
  • Avoid getting the eyes of the suit wet
  • Avoid anything that stains
  • Store your fursuits in a cool and dry location
  • Do not store for a long period of time unwashed
  • Do not expose to heat (like leaving it outdoors, in a hot car, etc.)

Shipping

Upon shipment, you will be sent a confirmation email that includes your tracking number. Please check your email for your notification. 

Once you’ve approved your suit, i will invoice you for the shipping cost!

Fursuit warranty

If your suit arrives with any fitting issues or has any defects in any way, contact me (trikomanokitfursuits@gmail.com) right away to arrange an edit. If im in error, I am responsible for shipping both ways.

Your fursuit has a 5-month warranty from the date of arrival to you. This covers repairs of rips, popped seams, adhesive failure, sizing adjustments, and eye repairs. Please contact me to arrange a fix. While under warranty, you (the buyer) will pay the shipping to the seller, and the seller pays shipping back to the buyer. You are responsible for making sure the suit is returned in a clean condition. 

The warranty doesn’t cover damage incurred from misuse or roughhousing in fursuit.  It does not cover sizing issues due to wrong measurements. 

Suit repairs

If you take good care of your fursuit, it can last for years. There are times where your suit may need touch-ups or small fixes.

I can do fixes, and replace items if needed. 

You may contact me(trikomanokitfursuits@gmail.com) at any time if you need your suit fixed up in almost any way. I will charge accordingly based on the estimated hours to fix the problem. 

You are responsible for making sure the suit is returned to me in a clean condition.

Fursuit refunds

Please be FULLY SURE you want the commission and that it is within your budget before purchase!

refunds are only available before a fursuit has had fur cut out and or sown for it.

Please email me directly if you seek a refund for any reason. I want to ensure you are getting what you want.

If you decide to get a refund, i automatically keep 25 % of the full commission amount as a fee for supplies/materials and communication. 

Once a fursuit has been completed it is no longer eligible for a refund.

Photos of commissions

I reserve the right to use any photography or videos that I take of commissioned work as posts to our social media, or advertising of any kind.
